"I went to Nandini Resort on my own for R & R. I arrived exhausted but left feeling like a new woman after four days of enjoying the comfort, food and spa treatments all provided by friendly, helpful staff. The pool hangs off the side of the mountain and it was great to swim surrounded by jungle views. Special mention goes to the 24:4 'go to guy' Iwan, who keeps the whole resort ticking. He speaks good English and always seems to have a smile on his face. I didn't get down the 250 steps to the river but understand from other guest that the stairs are in a bad state and need repair in some areas. If you go to this resort and don't have a massage every day you are missing out on a special experience. All you can hear while relaxing is the roar of the river coming from below the spa area. "Our stay was great, I wish we would have stayed there the more than two nights. There is so much to do in that area of Ubud. I highly recommend the elephant adventure with Bali Adventures, I wan at Nandini can set you up.
